Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Black Moose Outposts is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who will also serve as PRM and OPS Manager, ensuring the safety and reliability of our floatplane fleet. Key Responsibilities
- Professionally fill the role of being the company’s PRM and OPS Manger.
- Complete elementary maintenance on a Pilatus PC-6, Cessna Caravan 208, Cessna Grand Caravan EX, DHC-2 Beaver and Cessna 185
- Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety (25 – 50 – 100 and annual inspections)
- Working alongside for all aircraft inspections
- Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations by preparing and submitting maintenance documentation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft problems to ensure timely repairs and maintain airworthiness.
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Develop, coordinate and oversee the company’s weekly flight schedules in close collaboration with the Chief Pilot.
- Participate in outdoor work, such as camp maintenance, equipment transportation and construction projects.
Requirements and Skills
- A valid AME license issued by Transport Canada
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other crew members
- Craftsman skills
