Since the First World War, bush flying has been a long tradition in Canada, serving remote northern communities, patrolling forest fires, and pioneering aviation under extreme conditions. We at Black Moose Outposts are proud to carry on this tradition with our world class pilots and fleet of classic airplanes that can land on solid ground, water or snow. We are licensed by Transport Canada and hold a valid 703 Air Operator Certificate. Based out of Howey Bay in Red Lake, Ontario, we are proud to fly our guests and their supplies, as well as contractors, trappers, fishermen, hunters, adventurers, and canoers into remote Northwestern Ontario, including Woodland Caribou Park, and elsewhere in Canada. We are available for charter, with wait times if required. Please note that our planes easily take external loads, including boats, canoes and lumber.
At Black Moose Outposts, we provide reliable and flexible B2B air charter services, utilizing a fleet of high-performance amphibious aircrafts, including the Cessna Grand Caravan EX, Cessna 208 Caravan, and Pilatus PC-6. Designed for their efficiency and versatility, our airplanes are perfectly suited to meet the unique challenges of your business. With the ability to land at airports, remote landing strips, on water and snow, we easily connect civilization to remote, hard-to-reach locations across Canada. For water-only landings, we also operate the DHC-2 Beaver and Cessna 185, ideal for carrying external loads such as boats, or providing a cost-effective solution for smaller groups of 2-3 passengers. Whether you need to transport passengers or cargo, we deliver safe, dependable, and efficient solutions tailored to your needs.
