“Nothing short of world class”
My time there was above expectation across the board; from watching the most spectacular northern lights framed by the floor to ceiling windows of the lodge to fantastic fishing and a successful hunt in great company. All of this while the spruce and golden aspen reflect off Critchell Lake as a backdrop. I felt beyond fortunate to be able to be part of the experience.”

“Bull down on day 4”
Booked my first ever moose hunt with Black Moose Outposts in Septemeber 2022. Bull came in on a cow call on day four. You could hear him charging in from over a mile away, stepped out perfectly broadsided to 200 yards. Nice big bull with lots of meat, flew the quarters out the next morning, freezer is stacked.
