Pilot – Cessna 208 Caravan
We are looking for an experienced pilot with a deep passion for the Canadian outdoors. In this exciting role, you will operate a Cessna Caravan 208 on floats, providing diverse charter services while transporting guests and supplies to remote locations. Beyond your flying duties, you will engage in hands-on outdoor work, contributing to camp maintenance and various projects aimed at enhancing our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft while transporting passengers and cargo to remote locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections, including checking fuel levels, systems, and the aircraft’s overall condition, while evaluating weather conditions and flight routes.
- Following given flight schedules effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including briefings on safety and flight procedures.
- Maintain accurate flight logs and records.
- Adhere to aviation regulations and safety standards set by aviation authorities.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the aircraft.
- Providing an overview to customers of the cabins, their amenities, and the surrounding area.
- Participate in outdoor work, such as camp maintenance, equipment transportation and construction projects.
Requirements and skills
- Minimum of 1000 hours (500 on floats)
- Commercial Pilot License
- Medical Certificate
- Egress Training
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other crew members
- Craftsman skills
Experience in flying a Cessna Caravan 208 is an asset and will reflect wage.
